Purple Hearts

The story follows an aspiring musician who finds herself agreeing to a marriage of convenience with a Marine who is about to be deployed. The two enter into the arrangement with the understanding that it is purely for practical purposes, and that they will go their separate ways once the Marine is sent overseas. However, tragedy strikes and the couple is forced to confront their feelings for each other as they navigate the difficult situation. What started as a fake relationship soon becomes all too real as they rely on each other for support and comfort during this trying time. The musician must reconcile her initial reservations about the marriage with the growing affection she feels for her husband, while the Marine must grapple with his own emotions as he faces the challenges of deployment.
